Medu vada/Uzhunnu Vada Recipe

Ingredients:

Urad Dal – 1/2 cup
Dry roasted & Powdered rice and urad dal mix- 1 Tsp
Onion-1 sliced
Green Chilly – 1 Big Sliced
Ginger crushed – 1/2 Tsp
Pepper corn – 6
Curry leaves sliced -1Tsp
Baking soda – A pinch
Salt to taste

Method:
Soak Urad Dal for 6hours and grind smooth without adding water. To it add sliced onion ginger green chilly curry leaves roasted powdered rice and Urad Dal mix pepper corn baking soda and salt as required and mix well and keep for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes heat oil in pan and dip your palm in water. Take a ball sized batter flatten it and make a hole in middle and drop it in oil. Likewise do for the remaining batter. Flip sides and cook till golden brown. Serve with coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice…
Yum restaurant style Medu Vada/Uzhunnu Vada is ready… Crispy outside and soft inside…
