1 Timothy 4:12 NLT
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
Young people this is a section of scripture that is for us, for you! My encouragement to the young people today is to know your identity in Christ! The one who knew who you were before you were even born, the one who hears you when you’re by yourself no matter where, the one who loves you no matter what, Jesus is the only one that can define you, and what he has to say about you is so good! So don’t let anyone say less of you but be who you are called to be. You are made to be influencers and not to be influenced by others or this world. But a light in the dark 🔥God wants to place His spirit in you that you may go out into your everyday environments and demonstrate his love and power,
Mark 16:15-18 NLT
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. [16] Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. [17] These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. [18] They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
I encourage you to read the rest of 1 Timothy 4, it says we’ve been given gifts and that are to use them and that we are to carefully follow God’s ways. And here’s the thing about God’s ways, they actually aren’t burdensome, and they are all for our good! His ways are the best and are only given so that we can have the best life and true freedom.
And I’ll finish with this statement that was only revealed to me as I chose to follow Jesus
‘freedom isn’t the absence of rules or the ability to do whatever you want, freedom is the ability to know what is right and the ability to choose it’

I hope these words are an encouragement to you and I pray that you will know your identity in Christ and his love for you will be so real and personal.
