Dampened laid I
With tumultuous pressures
Vehemently pierced
Terribly dismantled
Hopes vanquished, spirit quenched.
Does life have anything more to proffer???
Thought I of giving up
Heard I the saviours cry
Be of good cheer
I have overcome the world
His love showered on
My splintered heart
His care lavished on
My wounded sores
His presence assured on
My excruciating journey!!!
Ah!!! Life is beautiful
With Jesus as thy companion!!
Trust me he will never leave thee!!
If he has promised he will fulfill,
If he has started he will end!!
Thy Companion all the day!!!
Till evening falls and journey ends!!!
