“CHILDREN – OUR HERITAGE”
According to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, “children are the greatest resource for the country”. They are the future of the nation and the citizen of tomorrow. Yes, it is a fact that the children are not only the resource for our country but also an asset for the kingdom of heaven. The bible says in Psalm 127:3, “Children are the heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is a reward”.
As parents, we always make sure that we have fulfilled the physical needs of our children. Even after knowing the fact, we neglect their spiritual growth. Children are provided to us to take care of them and it is the responsibility given by the heavenly God to nurture them in ‘His’ way and bring them in ‘His’ presence. The scripture is teaching us “Train up a child in the way he should go; And when he is old, he will not depart from it. Our children are precious and their life is valuable. Galatians 6: 7 says, “You reap what you sow”. Therefore, lets do not provoke our children to wrath; instead bring them up in the discipline and instructions of the Lord.
Along with education, which will help you to choose the best in this world, we need to desire for the spiritual growth which provides the eternal life. The bible teaches us in Matthew 6:33, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you”. This is the promise given by our living God, if we are ready to perceive Him in our life, we don’t have to worry about tomorrow. If we listen to His words, He will teach us the fear of the Lord. It will help us to overcome our temptations, trials, tribulations and troubles. Let the world witness Jesus Christ through us. God Bless!
