English Article: In Turbulence… Still Held | Neethu Aneesh, Ireland

Everyone loves watching a colourful kite dancing freely in the sky. But have you ever noticed how it moves when the wind becomes strong? The kite may be tossed up and down, pulled in different directions, and shaken by the turbulence, yet it does not fly away because someone is holding its string.

Sometimes, we feel the same way. Troubles come, circumstances shake us, and we may not understand where life is taking us. We may feel uncertain, discouraged, or overwhelmed. But remember this: the string of our lives is still in God’s mighty hand.

Isaiah 41:13 says:

“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

Just as a kite remains connected to the one holding its string, let our lives remain connected to God and guided by His Spirit. A life surrendered to Him and steered by the hand of Almighty God.. how beautiful it is!

Even when the winds of trouble blow strongly, He is still holding us.

2 Corinthians 4:8–9 reminds us that we may be hard pressed, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

So, when you feel unstable, discouraged, or uncertain, hold on to His mighty hand. Every worry, every pain, every failure, and every storm can be surrendered into His powerful hands.

Father, pull us higher.

Pull us closer to You.

Guide us and navigate our lives.

Whatever turbulence comes, remember:

The string is still in His hand.
