Philippians 4: 7
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Everlasting peace that God gives is something which transcends all understanding, means which exceeds or surpasses all human understanding..
And see what the peace of God can do.. It says, it’ll guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Means there’s a hedge of God’s protection around your hearts and minds. These are safe now.
Do you know that how much it’s important for your hearts and minds to be protected to live a peaceful life in this world?
The peace of God will always help you to have Godly thoughts, and also to surrender yourselves completely to God’s will.
When you do this, then the Spirit of the Lord helps you to know about the perfect will of God for your life and leads you to walk in it faithfully all the days of your life.., even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you’ll fear no evil, for the God of peace is with you always.
Kindly do pause for a moment here to think about this:
It’s completely in your hands to choose who do you want to rule your hearts and minds…, either to be protected by God from all evil or not…
Please read carefully,
At the same time, this protection from God will never allow devil to come near you to whisper evil things in your mind, which creates thoughts of worries, fears and doubts.. because keeping all these negative thoughts in your mind, when you live your life or when you pray,
➢ you won’t be able to praise and worship God with all your heart.
➢ you won’t be able to take right decisions.
➢ you won’t be able to concentrate in anything you do.
➢ you will feel frustrated and restless.
If you are going through these above mentioned things in your life today..
That means, by keep on thinking negatively, you are giving room to devil to easily get access to your hearts and minds to trouble you with all the negative feelings or emotions.., those are to be protected by the peace of God.
See what Jesus Christ is saying here in John 14: 27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
God’s peace won’t let your hearts be troubled and no fear comes near you.
If you really want to experience this everlasting peace in your life, even if you are in any difficult situation, then you must know one thing that our Heavenly Father has already paid a great price by sacrificing His only Son, Jesus Christ for your salvation, to give you this gift of eternal peace.
Even if the whole world will be under great pressure, you will always be peaceful.
When we read Isaiah 53: 5b, “the punishment that brought us peace was on him.”
Jesus took all the punishments on Himself on the cross, to give you the everlasting peace..
You just ask Him in your own language,
“O Lord, I need your peace in my life and in my family, for which you took all the punishments upon yourself. I believe that and now I know that how your peace guards and protects my heart and mind and help me to live a peaceful life. Amen!”
