Excel VBS Unveils 2025 Logo and Theme: My Compass Set to Guide a Generation to God

Kumbanad, India: Excel Ministries, widely known for its impactful work in children’s evangelism, unveiled the logo and theme for its 2025 Vacation Bible School (VBS) on Friday, September 13, at Gilgal Comfort Home. The ceremony was led by Pastor Y. Reji, Church of God Kerala State Overseer, during a meeting chaired by Varkey Abraham Kachanattu.

 

In his address, Pastor Reji emphasized the crucial role Excel Ministries plays in today’s society, particularly in its outreach to youth. The 2025 VBS theme, My Compass, focuses on guiding a generation often influenced by external pressures toward the truth of God’s Word, helping them find a purposeful and eternal destination in Christ. Excel Ministries’ Founder Directors, Anil Elanthoor and Binu Joseph, expressed their belief that this theme will be pivotal in leading many to Christ.

Joby K.C. presented the theme, with Pastor Abraham George Malayil and Shibu K. John offering their congratulations. The event also featured musical and worship led by the Excel Music Band, with contributions from Benson Varghese, Kiran Kumar, Blesson Thomas, Denny John, Preethi Binu, and Jincy Anil.

Rev. Thambi Mathew, Chairman, praised Excel Ministries’ dedicated efforts over the past 17 years in children’s ministry. Shinu Thomas, VBS Director, and Riby Kenneth, International Director, shared the vision behind this ambitious project, which aims to reach 500,000 children for the Lord through the Excel VBS program, available in 15 languages globally.

The theme resources will be rolled out in January 2025, with leaders from various international chapters overseeing VBS activities in their regions. These include Blesson P. John (UK), Sumi Varghese (Ireland), Gladson James, (Regional Director), Byju Abraham (Qatar), Salin Mathew (UAE), Ancy Vipin (Kuwait), Vijoy (Saudi Arabia), and Reena Monsy (USA), ensuring the initiative’s global impact continues to grow.
