First National Convention of the Church of God in Bahrain
Bahrain: The Church of God in the Kingdom of Bahrain held its First National Convention and inaugurated the National Executive Council on December 15, 2025, at BMC, Segaya, Manama.
The program opened with prayers and scripture readings, followed by Rev. George Varghese’s Presidential Address, which highlighted the beginnings of the Church in the Pearl Islands and announced the new council members.
Rev. Dr. Sushil Mathew, Regional Superintendent for Gulf Countries, delivered the keynote message, urging believers to rise “from the valley of doubt to the peak of faith.” Credential certificates were presented to Pastor Bose B. Varghese and Pastor Lijo Mathew.
Messages were translated into Malayalam, prayers were led by several pastors, and greetings came from leaders of BMCC, MEPC, and Goodnews Bahrain. The convention concluded with blessings from Rev. Dr. Mathew, prayers, and worship led by the National Choir, attended by clergy, council members, and believers from across congregations.
