AUPC Launches Renewed Nationwide Evangelism Effort

Australian United Pentecostal Churches (AUPC) is mobilising volunteers across the nation in a renewed wave of street evangelism, beginning with a prayer gathering and outreach under the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Saturday, 13 December, at 10:00 am.

Organisers highlight the eternal value of every conversation and tract shared, emphasising that the mission is to point people toward faith in Christ—not to seek publicity. Many outreach efforts across various states remain intentionally unpublicised, including support provided to other churches.

AUPC leadership is encouraging congregations to adopt a more outward-focused mission approach. Volunteers are being trained to engage respectfully, listen well, offer prayer, and share simple testimonies and the message of salvation. Churches are increasingly moving beyond building-based ministry to meet people where they live, work, and travel.

Leaders note that public evangelism also demonstrates Christian presence in the community and opens doors for partnerships with local services and gospel initiatives. The Sydney CBD outreach invites participants to pray for the nations near the historic Harbour Bridge, fostering an environment for honest questions, genuine care, and steps toward faith and community.
