Pastor Stephen Mathew Appointed as Education Director –Church of God, (Middle East) Region

The Church of God in the Gulf Countries is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Pastor Stephen Mathew as the new Education Director for the Kuwait Region. The announcement was made on August 5, 2025, by Rev. Dr. Sushil Mathew, Regional Superintendent of the Church of God in the Gulf Countries of the Middle East Region, during the Pastor’s Conference attended by all Church of God pastors serving in Kuwait. This key appointment reflects the Church’s continued commitment to strengthening ministerial training and theological excellence in the region. Pastor Stephen Mathew, son of Rev. T.S. Mathew and Mrs. Susamma Mathew, is married to Blessy, and they are blessed with two children. A committed pastor and educator, he has been serving in ministry since 2011 and currently leads Sharon Pentecostal Church of God, Kuwait. Academically accomplished, he holds degrees in Literature and Christian Studies, alongside a B.D. and M.Th. from the Senate of Serampore College. He is currently pursuing his D.Min. at Asbury Theological Seminary, USA. He has also taught theology at leading seminaries in Kerala. We congratulate Pastor Stephen Mathew on this significant appointment and pray that his leadership will greatly enrich the educational mission of the Church of God in Kuwait.
