Church of God Full Gospel in Bahrain Celebrates 40 Years of Ministry with Thanksgiving Service
Bahrain : The Church of God Full Gospel in Bahrain celebrated a historic milestone, marking 40 years of faithful ministry, with a solemn and spirit-filled Thanksgiving Prayer Service held on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event was led by Pastor Biju Philip and witnessed a remarkable gathering of believers, leaders, and well-wishers.

The service was honored by the presence of Rev. Dr. Sushil Mathew, Regional Superintendent for Church of God – Gulf Countries, Middle East Region, who served as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Dr. Mathew delivered a profound and challenging message, urging the congregation to remain rooted in faith while pressing forward with vision and purpose.
The celebration featured powerful worship, testimonies of transformation, and reflections on the church’s four-decade-long journey of impact and service in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Pastor Biju Philip expressed heartfelt gratitude to God and to the church community for their unwavering support and dedication.
A special highlight of the event was the video message from Dr. Gary J. Lewis, General Overseer of the Church of God, who extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the Executive Committee and the global Church of God denomination, celebrating the church’s legacy and witness.
Adding to the significance of the evening, leaders and representatives from sister churches and organizations, including BMCC (Bahrain Malayalee Christian Cingregation), MEPC (Middle East Pentecostal Churches), IPC, AG, Sharon Fellowship Church, Gideons, ICPF, Goodnews, Kraisthava Ezhuthupura, Prarthanadhwani offered their warm felicitations, signifying the unity and shared vision of the body of Christ in the region. Also Pr Mathew Cherian, Br C P Varghese and Roy Mepral conveyed their felicitations through online.
